Chocolate and Strawberry Cupcakes

A loving wife ordered 50 cupcakes for her husband's 38th birthday. It's for her husband to bring to his office for his colleagues. She requested for 25 pieces of chocolate and 25 pcs of strawberry. The colour theme chosen was brown/chocolate, blue and white. Her husband plays golf and likes football too.

Fondant toppers : jersey, shorts, socks, snickers and choc balls.


Requested by customer to put the wordings as : To my hubby, I heart U.. How sweet.. :)


These were the 25 sets of strawberry cupcakes with blue/white colour theme and golf sports equipments and accessories. I should have used white or a darker shade of blue for the happy birthday wordings to make it more contrasting in colour. Initially, I was thinking of using white buttercream to go with the blue wordings but at the end I managed to get a nice shade of blue buttercream. So I still have to use the blue wordings which I made in advance and I hope it wasn't too bad.

    Wow...so intricate and detailed the design on your cupcakes..wish I could learn to do this...when I have the time coz I just got a new oven..passed down fr sis in law..
