Dragon Baby Fullmoon Cake

Yet another full moon cake with Baby Dragons sugar figurines for baby Farrell Javier. My client specially requested for a red Chinese dragon  figurine and a sleeping baby wearing blue cap and a diaper.

I am hoping to make more of this theme for this year as it is an auspicious year for all the new born babies. So mummies out there or friends and relatives of the newbornes.. don't leave this opportunity to have this special design full moon cake for the special babies..:)

Dragon Baby Themed Cake For Baby Braydon's Fullmoon Celebration

The dragon is the most auspicious sign in the Chinese zodiac as it is the only year represented by a mythical character, rather than an animal, as in the eleven others of the dozen-year cycle. The dragon, considered the most auspicious zodiac sign in chinese culture, is often associated with good fortune and intelligence and is believed to be the sign of those destined for success.

I was so looking forward to make this cake for my nephew who turns one month old. His Chinese name has got a special meaning : Kim = Gold, Loong = Dragon. Hence, the gold dragon topper and a sleeping baby with a special dragon like blanket.

Happy fullmoon baby Braydon. May he grow up to be a man with wisdom, good health and wealth!

Baby Anabelle Natalie's Full Moon Cupcake

This is my very first cupcake order for a baby's full moon. The cupcake toppers - baby's footprints, crocs/booties, bibs, milk bottle, baby jumper/shirt, name tags and rattles are all made of sugarpaste/fondant.

Helena ordered 50 pcs of cupcakes for her friend's daughter's full moon party. She requested for pink and purple as the colour theme for these vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream. Thanks Helena for giving me the chance to prepare these. Hope you like it as much as I enjoyed doing those cute little toppers :)
